Lessons learned meeting is an opportunity to get feedback from the project team and stakeholders on what went well and opportunities for improvement on a project

Purpose

 

The lessons learned meeting provides an opportunity to identify and document lessons learned on the project.  Documenting lessons learned helps to share knowledge and experience gained on a project that can be used by future project teams.  A successful Lessons Learned program will help project teams repeat desirable outcomes and avoid undesirable outcomes
