
Welcome to the Project Portfolio Office
The Project Portfolio Office (PPO) was established in 2015, with the purpose to coordinate, oversee and provide stewardship of IT related portfolio management, project management and governance processes. The PPO forms part of the Office of the CTO and is a centre of excellence for these areas both within Information Technology Services (ITS) and across the college. The objective of the PPO is to improve project, portfolio and governance practices in order to
- Better align project activity with college strategy and investments
- Ensure resources are going to the right projects at the right time
- Provide executive visibility to project and portfolio-level status including schedule, costs, quality, issues, risks, metrics.
- Increate likelihood of successful projects by lowering risk
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness of those involved in projects
- Improve collaboration and sharing of knowledge and best practices
