Service Overview
Niagara College provides additional network file share services to Staff, Faculty and Guests upon request. Please note that the following network file shares are automatically provided to staff and faculty:
- G: and N: drives are automatically mapped for part-time and full-time staff.
- I: drive is additionally provided to faculty.
- U: drive is additionally provided to International staff.
Select the Create Ticket button to request:
- for access to restricted files and folders
- to make a restricted folder
- to make, modify or remove a N: Drive folder for college reorganization
- to restore network file share files and folders from backup
If you need assistance mapping a network share, or a network share that you already have access to is not working please use this link to submit a Something is Broken ticket.
Service Request Options
Select the Create Request button for Network File Share services.
Please note: For removal, creation or additional access to restricted files and folders:
- You will need to provide the exact path of the folder. (Ex. G:\InterDept\Academic Advising\Minutes)
- Your manager will receive an email 'Approval Request' requiring them to click a link in the email to approve or deny the request.
