Office Phones, Fax and Audio Conferencing

Service Overview

Information Technology Services provides Office Phone, Fax and Audio Conferencing assistance to Niagara College employees and tenants, including:

  • Order an office phone, Avaya Workplace softphone or phone lines
  • Move an office phone or phone line
  • Unlock voicemail box
  • Request assistance with Avaya softphone software
  • Report a non-functioning Avaya Workplace or Avaya Agent Desktop softphone
  • Report a non-functioning office phone or phone line
  • Assign phone extension, call display, long distance authorization code and/or voicemail mailbox
  • Help with RightFax network fax
  • Assign RightFax fax number
  • Report a service outage for RightFax
  • Modify my listed phone extension and/or room number in the Contact Directory
  • Make a new tenant listing or modify or remove a tenant listing in the Contact Directory
  • Schedule a conference phone for a boardroom or meeting room
  • Help with Pragmatic audio conferencing plan or charges
  • Assign Pragmatic audio conferencing moderator
  • Help with Skype for Business or AV room equipment
  • Assign a Skype for Business audio conferencing organizer
  • Report an audio quality issue for Skype for Business
  • Report a service outage for Skype for Business
  • Modify automated attendant for closures and/or events
  • Modify automatic call distribution phone queue
  • Report a non-functioning phone queue
  • Report a telephone system service outage
  • Request to add a second shared extension (applies to office phone and Avaya Workplace softphone)
